Manage Resources

Whether you are managing GitHub repositories, storage buckets, or DMS records, Resources offers real-time visibility into your cloud infrastructure and powerful tools to streamline your resource management processes.

Populating Resources

Resources are populated by:

  1. Importing existing resources using import policies. See Import existing resources for more information.
  2. Provisioning new resources using self-serve recipes during project deployments. See Deploy a Project and Manage deployed Projects for more information.

Resource Overview

Each resource entry shows its last sync time, ensuring you always have up-to-date information.

Search and Filtering

Use the search bar to quickly locate resources by name or keyword. Or apply filters using the filter panel to narrow down resources by cloud provider, app, type of resource, team, associated Projects, classifications, and labels.

Resource Details

Click on any resource entry to see more details, including relevant properties, associated links, classifications, ownership, and related Tempest projects.

Operations Log

View a resource’s associated logs by navigating to the Logs tab of your resource and see application logs describing the operations that Tempest took to provision or sync the resource. A single log will give you a timestamp, severity level, operation, and output text.
